Epoxy floor installation typically takes 2-5 days depending on project size, coating system, and surface preparation requirements. For a standard residential garage (400-600 sq ft), installation usually takes 2-3 days.  Commercial projects may require 3-5 days or longer depending on square footage and complexity. The process includes surface preparation (grinding, cleaning, repairs), primer application, base coat, and topcoat applications, with proper curing time between each step. Weather conditions in Toronto can affect curing times, particularly humidity and temperature levels. We schedule installations to accommodate Toronto's climate and ensure optimal curing conditions. For commercial clients like Facilities Manager Frank, we can often work weekends or during low-activity periods to minimize business disruption.  Each coating layer requires 8-24 hours to cure before the next application. Final curing for light foot traffic takes 24-48 hours, while heavy traffic or vehicles require 5-7 days. Toroo Epoxy Coatings provides detailed timelines during project planning to help you prepare accordingly.
